We're welcoming Officer Zach Haney from Kentucky State Police Post 8 for a presentation on how you can help your children and teens safely navigate the digital world!
Our lives are increasingly fueled by technology, and the most recent Pew Research Center study says that fully half of young adults have dealt with or currently deal with some form of cyberbullying. Calling names and spreading rumors may be the most common forms of cyberbullying, but social networking sites and unsupervised internet usage can create an open forum for online predators and worse. Come learn from Officer Haney about ways you can work to protect your kids and, even more importantly, give them the tools to protect themselves.
