Purpose of Meeting

Event Concept

An all-day, (10am to 4pm on Saturday, July 12th) drop-in style community organizing fair at the local library where people can explore movements, meet organizers, reflect on their values, and identify a cause they care about. It should be relaxed but energizing, with interactive stations, storytelling, and action steps.  This is the idea and I am generating the concept map, agenda and groups below.

Event Title Example:

“Power In You: Find Your Movement”
A Day of Interactive Community Connection & Action

Event Goals

  • Spark self-reflection: What issues matter most to you?
  • Connect attendees with local organizing groups and campaigns.
  • Offer actionable ways to get involved, big or small.
  • Make organizing approachable, social, and meaningful.
