One of our library's most important staff members needs your help: We want you to pick a name for our Morehead Turtle Walk statue!
Artist Rachael King has kindly agreed to let Rowan County provide a first name for her work (whose last name will remain the original Turtleemarine). It's up to you to decide what our most colorful librarian is called, and we want you to do it as part of Summer Reading! Anyone of any age can participate; all you need is an active library card (although we'd love it if you signed up for Summer Reading, too).
Register below with your library card number (and contact information, so we can reach you if your submission wins). Five (5) finalists will be selected from among all entries by library staff; a winner will be chosen by public vote and announced along with our Summer Reading finale events!
