Participants can also earn stamps toward free books at Morehead's local bookstore, CoffeeTree Books. Intended for grades 5-8.
August's book is Bob by Rebecca Stead, Wendy Mass, and Nicholas Gannon: A fantastical tale about the enduring power of friendship. When Livy and her family visit her grandmother in Australia after a five-year break, she discovers (or rediscovers) Bob. A small green creature in a chicken suit, Bob hasn't forgotten Livy or her promise to help him remember who and what he is, where he came from, and if he has a family.
