Our library history and genealogy programming promotes an awareness of and interest in local heritage. Cindy's presentations are different every month, covering a wide variety of topics, and we often welcome special guests! Intended for ages 18+.

 

In August, we're joined by Stuart Sanders, Director of Research and Collections with the Kentucky Historical Society! He'll be recounting a macabre scene from 1856 of murder and mayhem aboard the steamboat Ohio Belle, where a drunken altercation turned into a twisted tale of murder and revenge...
