Our library history and genealogy programming promotes an awareness of and interest in local heritage. Cindy's presentations are different every month, covering a wide variety of topics, and we often welcome special guests! Intended for ages 18+.

 

March is Women's History Month, so we're exploring the history of women's suffrage in Kentucky: Those who fought for the vote, how they won it, and what they did with it. Presenting is historian Shea Magnuson, who will discuss the roadmap Kentucky women traveled to secure this important right.
