Our library history and genealogy programming promotes an awareness of and interest in local heritage. Cindy's presentations are different every month, covering a wide variety of topics, and we often welcome special guests! Intended for ages 18+.
September's program will be a roundtable discussion on genetic genealogy, more commonly known as genetic ancestry testing. Everyone is invited to share the experiences, challenges, and discoveries you've had in your own personal journey with genetic genealogy—or if you're just curious about the topic, to come and ask any questions you may have and learn about how it works and what it could mean for you! Participants will also be entered for a chance to win an AncestryDNA® testing kit.
